  • 1 box cake mix (chocolate or vanilla)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups melting chocolate (dark, milk, or white)
  • colorful sprinkles or decorations

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, water, and oil; beat until smooth. Pour into a greased pan and bake according to package instructions.
  2. Allow the cake to cool completely. Crumble it into fine pieces in a large bowl.
  3. Mix in about half a cup of frosting until the mixture holds together when squeezed. Roll into one-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray.
  4. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl at short intervals until smooth. Dip each cake ball halfway into the melted chocolate and return them to the tray.
  5. Before the coating sets, add your choice of sprinkles for decoration.
  6. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes until firm before serving.
