Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef use lean ground beef for best results
  • 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend recommended
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • 1 avocado sliced

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients and preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with taco seasoning, forming four patties.
  3. Cook the patties in the skillet for about 5 minutes per side until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C), adding cheese during the last minute to melt.
  4. Place one tortilla on a plate, add a cooked patty and more cheese, then top with another tortilla.
  5. Grill the quesadilla burger in the skillet for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Slice into wedges and top with lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, or any desired toppings.
