Ingredients
  

For the Trout
  • 4 fillets Rainbow Trout skin-on
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil for brushing
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 1 lemon Lemon sliced for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley chopped for garnish
For the Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a bowl, mix together lemon juice, minced garlic, dried thyme, and dried oregano.
Marinate the Trout
  1. Place the rainbow trout fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
Preheat the Grill
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
Grill the Trout
  1. Remove the trout from the marinade and season with salt and black pepper. Place the fillets skin-side down on the grill.
  2. Grill for about 5 minutes, then carefully flip the fillets and grill for another 3-5 minutes until cooked through.
Serve
  1. Remove the trout from the grill and garnish with lemon slices and chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
