Ingredients
  

Mushrooms
  • 4 pieces Portabella mushrooms stems removed
Marinade
  • 1/4 cup olive oil extra virgin
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Marinate the Mushrooms
  1. Place the portabella mushrooms in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure they are well coated.
  2. Cover and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Grill the Mushrooms
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Place the marinated mushrooms on the grill, gill side down, and grill for about 5 minutes.
  3. Flip the mushrooms and grill for an additional 5 minutes, basting with leftover marinade.
Serve
  1. Remove from the grill and serve warm as a main dish or side.
