Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 1 bunch garlic scapes trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 cup bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup carrot julienned
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds toasted
  • 2 tablespoons green onions sliced

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Trim the garlic scapes and cut them into 2-inch pieces. Slice the bell pepper, julienne the carrot, and separate the broccoli into florets.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, minced ginger, and minced garlic. Set aside.
Stir-Fry the Vegetables
  1. Heat a wok over medium-high heat. Add a splash of oil and stir-fry the garlic scapes for 2 minutes.
  2. Add the bell pepper, carrot, and broccoli. Stir-fry for an additional 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Add the Sauce
  1. Pour the sauce over the stir-fried vegetables and toss to coat evenly. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Serve
  1. Remove from heat, garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve hot.
