Method
 

  1. Prepare the mixed fruit by cleaning and cutting if necessary.
  2. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat until the sugar dissolves to create a syrup.
  3. Add the mixed fruit to the syrup and simmer for about 60 minutes until the fruit becomes translucent.
  4. Remove the fruit from the syrup and let it cool slightly.
  5. Roll the fruit in the additional 1 cup of granulated sugar to coat.
