- In a saucepan, combine water, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and salt; bring to a boil.
- Add the flour to the boiling mixture and stir until a ball forms.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Stir in eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Transfer the dough to a piping bag and pipe churros into the hot oil, frying until golden brown.
- Remove churros and drain on paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup of sugar and cinnamon; roll churros in the mixture.
- For dipping sauce, combine chocolate chips and heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat until melted and smooth.
