Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, dark cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes or until the edges are set.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
