Ingredients

Crispy Buffalo Chicken
  • 1 lb (450g) crispy breaded chicken breast tenders, cooked crunchy and sliced
  • 1/3 cup classic buffalo wing sauce (such as Frank's RedHot)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Wrap Assembly & Fillings
  • 4 large (10-inch) burrito-size flour tortillas, warmed
  • 6 slices cooked crispy beef bacon, crumbled or halved
  • 1 cup (4 oz) sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
  • 2 cups crisp romaine lettuce, finely shredded
  • 1/2 medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup creamy buttermilk herb ranch dressing (plus extra for dipping)

Method

Step-by-Step Preparation
  1. Cook the crispy chicken tenders in an oven or air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes until extra crunchy. Slice into bite-sized strips.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the buffalo wing sauce and melted butter. Add the hot crispy chicken strips and toss gently until thoroughly coated in the glossy glaze.
  3. Warm the flour tortillas on a dry skillet over medium heat for 15 seconds per side until soft and pliable.
  4. Lay the tortillas flat. Down the center of each tortilla, layer shredded romaine lettuce, sliced red onions, and avocado slices.
  5. Arrange the glazed crispy buffalo chicken evenly across each wrap, then top with crumbled crispy bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of buttermilk herb ranch dressing over the fillings of each wrap.
  7. Fold the sides inward over the filling, then roll tightly from the bottom up into a snug cylinder.
  8. Optional: Sear seam-side down in a lightly greased skillet for 1-2 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Slice in half diagonally and serve with extra ranch.
