Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Fettuccine
  • 1 tbsp Salt for pasta water
  • 1 lb Shrimp large, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Green onions chopped
  • 2 tbsp Parsley fresh, chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Mix in the cooked fettuccine and Parmesan cheese, tossing to combine. Cook for an additional minute.
  6. Garnish with green onions and parsley before serving.
