  • 3 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 1.5 lbs
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 8 oz cremini or button mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup Marsala wine
  • 8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Cooking Steps
  1. Prepare your ingredients: mince the garlic and slice the mushrooms.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then sear for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and mushrooms; sauté for about 5 minutes until soft.
  4. Pour in Marsala wine and chicken broth; simmer for 5 minutes to reduce slightly. Stir in heavy cream until well combined.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet with any juices; let simmer for another few minutes.
  6. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and toss with sauce in the skillet until well coated.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
