BBQ Chicken Sides

Ingredients
  

Coleslaw
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Corn on the Cob
  • 4 ears corn husked
  • 1 tablespoon butter for serving
  • 1 teaspoon salt for serving
Baked Beans
  • 2 cans baked beans 15 oz each
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon BBQ sauce

Method
 

Coleslaw Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to combine. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Corn on the Cob Preparation
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the corn and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  3. Remove from water, slather with butter, and sprinkle with salt before serving.
Baked Beans Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a baking dish, combine baked beans, chopped onion, brown sugar, mustard, and BBQ sauce.
  3. Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and heated through.
